Tajh Boyd may be playing his final season with Clemson in the ACC, but the superstar quarterback knows a thing or two about beating teams in the high-and-mighty SEC. After taking down LSU to win the Chick-fil-A Bowl last year, he and his Tigers opened the 2013 season with a huge “W” over Georgia.

With his team sitting at 2-0 and resting comfortably within the top five of the latest AP Poll, Boyd will be watching games from home this weekend. Clemson is on a bye week before opening up its ACC slate against NC State next Saturday.

So who will Boyd be watching? The same two college football juggernauts the rest of the nation will be: Alabama at Texas A&M.

The next question, of course, is simple: Who does Boyd believe is going to come out of College Station with its undefeated record intact?

“Honestly? I got A&M,” Boyd told reporters, according to the Charleston Post and Courier. “A lot of people say Saban won’t be beat twice; it’s at A&M. it’s going to be a competitive game. It’s going to be a fun game. I’m excited to watch it. It’s going to be an intriguing game.”

We shouldn’t be so surprised at Boyd’s candid chatter here. After all, this is the same guy who took to Instagram to coach up Wake Forest.
