Terrell Owens is probably one of the best players ever to be taken in the third round of the NFL Draft. The wide receiver was selected in 1996 by San Francisco and would go on to earn six Pro Bowl berths in his 15-year career.

However, nowadays, Owens is 39 years old. He has lost a step (or two or three, judging by the fact that the Indoor Football League’s Allen Wranglers released him in 2012) but his mouth is still firing off shots as fast as ever.

At his age, and only standing at 6-foot-3, Owens believes he could still make it in the NBA today.

Bold statement there, buddy.

We would recommend playing the game you dominated for 15 seasons, but wait, that’s not an option anymore. Why would the NBA be one either?

And remember, Owens is comparing himself to a guy that’s not even on any team’s roster at the moment in Luke Walton – not exactly a ringing self-endorsement.
