Texas A&M unveils new Kyle Field plans for biggest scoreboard in NCAA

, ,

Texas A&M’s quest to become the biggest college football show in Texas continues. In addition to the massive, $450 million renovation going on at Kyle Field, the university has also unveiled plans for a new scoreboard. The dimensions are 163 feet wide by 47 feet tall, which will make it the largest scoreboard in the SEC, Texas (sorry Longhorns), and all of college football.

According to SDS, the board will be in place for the opening 2014 game on Sept. 6th. Following are a few renderings, courtesy of @TexAgs.
