The University of Texas has commissioned the Disney Institute to audit Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. According to the Austin American-Statesman, the university has enlisted Disney to help with fan experience during football games.
Consultants will monitor everything from customer service to the scoreboard and sound system (Godzillatron). The Statesman reports that this is all in effort to boost Texas’ revenue from $169 million to $200 million.
With a new athletic director, football coach, and an improved game day experience, the Longhorns are defining a new era in Texas athletics.
