The Oregon Ducks have made the official release of jerseys and helmets into the blogosphere an art form.
Texas Tech, on the other hand, is still learning how best to go about releasing their new and exciting gear. Already, a few early photos of gloves and a white helmet were released via Twitter, only to recently have a table full of a dozen uniquely designed helmets leaked as well.
There is still no word on whether or not the Red Raiders have officially unveiled their 2013 jersey-helmet-logo combinations, but this image posted by Reddit user DFWTwoThrowed could be a peak into how Texas Tech will look style-wise on the field next season.
The black helmets shown above are known as the school’s more traditional look, while white and red have been attempted at various points to minimal fan support.
We’ll all just have to wait and see which color combinations the team goes with to kick off the 2013 regular season, but at least they will be looking fresh in these mostly solid-colored uniforms with a single stripe running from the under the arm, all the way to the bottom of the pants.
More importantly, however, is how Kingsbury and the team performs, no matter what they are wearing. For that, too, we will have to wait and see.
