Remember how Tim Tebow has been striving to reach his goal of playing quarterback in the NFL? How he refuses to change positions or ink a deal with a Canadian or Arena League team?
That all may have just changed. Tebow has been training at USC recently, and apperently he has kept himself in good enough shape to impress Moscow Black Storm owner Mikhail Zaltsman. Zaltsman told Russia Beyond the Headlines that he wants to see Tebow lacing them up for his squad for its Sept. 28 playoff game. Should Tebow lead the Black Storm to a win against the Moscow Patriots (yes, the Patriots) then he would lead the team into the league’s championship game.
He would be willing to pay Tebow a pretty penny to make it happen. As in, a whopping $1 million for at most two games. That is far more than he would make with any team in the States or north of the border, and Zaltsman seems pretty confident he can make it happen.
“We have offered him $1 million for two games,” Moscow Black Storm owner Mikhail Zaltsman told RBTH. “I talked with him personally and he wanted to go.”
Could we be seeing “Tebowing” spanning from The Swamp to Siberia pretty soon?
