Tim Tebow will not be on the Jaguars next season, new GM David Caldwell says

Well Jacksonville Jaguars fans, aka Florida Gators fans, don’t start planning on season tickets to see Tim Tebow play just yet.

In December, Chris Mortensen of of ESPN reported that Tebow to Jacksonville was a ‘virtual certainty.’

With the hiring of new general manager David Caldwell, and now the firing of head coach Mike Mularkey, it looks like Tebow to Jacksonville may  no longer be in the cards.

According to NFL.com, Caldwell had the following to say on Jacksonville’s future with Tebow:

“I can’t imagine a scenario where he would be a Jacksonville Jaguar,” Caldwell said.

“Even if he’s released?” one reporter asked.

“Even if he’s released,” Caldwell said.

With this news, fans have to start to wonder what the next move will be for Tebow, and if he will even get a shot to start for an NFL team.
