Report: Todd Grantham leaves Georgia to become Louisville defensive coordinator

The offseason coaching carousel continues to impact programs across the country. On Sunday, Joe Schad of ESPN reported that Todd Grantham had been hired as the Louisville Cardinals defensive coordinator. Grantham will leave the same position with Georgia to coach under Bobby Petrino.

Louisville is set to make Grantham one of the highest paid coordinators in the country. He’ll receive a 5-year contract worth $1 million per year.

Grantham spent four seasons coaching the defense in Athens (2010-13). Prior to that he had several stints in both college and the NFL.
