The Big D’s main man, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, recently upgraded his house game with the purchase of a 10,662 square foot Dallas mansion.
According to CandysDirt.com, a Dallas real estate blog, the house comes equipped with a whole lot of goodies, including: five bedrooms, five full and four half baths, seven living areas, three stories, wine room on the first floor, elevator, a morning room with fireplace, a covered outdoor living area with outdoor kitchen, separate sitting area off the second floor master, gameroom, study and “her” office, media room with a very cool concessions bar counter, exercise room, and a three-car garage.
Aikman was even able to get himself a steal with this one, paying $4,250,000 for a house that started on the market at $6,850,000. Not too shabby of a job, Mr. Aikman.
Despite all of the amenities of this monster house, Aikman wasn’t satisfied, so he decided to do a bit of remodeling immediately.
Of course, there is a remodel underway — making the closets bigger, re-surfacing, and I just cannot see Troy living with the leopard carpet on the stairs, can you?
