With the kickoff of the 2013 college football season a little more than a month away, Bovada.lv has updated its Heisman Trophy betting odds.

Of course, reigning winner Johnny Manziel is going to be the odds-on favorite until the point in the year where he lays a few eggs in a row – if that even happens, of course.

What we’re interested in is the guy behind Ohio State’s Braxton Miller and in third place in the betting odds: Superstar South Carolina defensive end and resident athletic freak of nature Jadeveon Clowney.

Ahead of two members of the defending national champion Crimson Tide (TJ Yeldon and AJ McCarron), Clowney has arguably garnered more preseason Heisman love than any defender in the Trophy’s history.
