Updated 2014 college football recruiting class rankings – Jan. 24

Another Friday is upon us, meaning it’s time to take another look at the college football recruiting class rankings. National Signing Day (Feb. 5) is now just a week and a half away.

There’s no surprise at the top, as Alabama continues to roll with the No. 1 team ranking. The addition of Lane Kiffin to Nick Saban’s staff is only going to help the Tide’s stranglehold on the college football recruiting world.

Ohio State is still sitting at No. 2 just behind Alabama. Urban Meyer is proving yet again that he can recruit with the best in the nation.

Texas A&M took a slight slide from No. 3 to No. 5. The Aggies had a total of 21 commits at the end of last week, but are down to 20 this week.

With A&M’s drop, LSU and FSU moved up to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
