During Sunday’s Minnesota-Baltimore game, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was injured on a tackle near the sidelines in the second quarter. He left the game on a cart following the play.
From the looks of the video, as well as the FOX Sports broadcast, it appears he may have suffered an ankle injury.
At the time of his exit, Peterson had totaled 13 yards on seven carries during a snow-filled game in Baltimore.
Toby Gerhart will take over the carries in Peterson’s absence.
