A fight broke out at the conclusion of an Alabama high school football game, leaving two coaches badly bloodied and one suspended by the school. The two high schools were shaking hands when Walker head coach John Holladay and Cullman defensive coordinator Matt Hopper got into it in a big way.
Holladay was immediately placed on administrative leave, according to the Daily Mountain Eagle’s Facebook page.
However, the decision-makers at Cullman failed to see the issue with the fight. In Sunday’s edition of The Cullman Times, Cullman Board of Education President Suzanne Harbin said “there is no need to reprimand our coaches and players, that they acted with class and dignity during the situation.”
