Video: Apopka QB and Nebraska commit executes perfect Statue of Liberty play

Powerhouse Florida program Apopka faced off against powerhouse South Carolina program Byrnes on Saturday to kick off the 2013 high school football season.

For those not familiar with these two schools, Warren Sapp is a product of Apopka, while Marcus Lattimore graduated from Byrnes.

But we’re not here to talk about the past. No, we’re here to bring you one of the most perfectly executed “Statue of Liberty” plays ever run.

On 3rd and 16, Nebraska commit and Apopka quarterback Zack Darlington took the snap and faked the ball, handing off to wide receiver Ray Ray Smith for a 72-yard touchdown.
