Video: Arkansas beats Kentucky with a game-winning, putback dunk

, , ,

This isn’t exactly how Arkansas coach Mike Anderson drew it up, but he’ll surely take it. His Razorbacks beat the Kentucky Wildcats on a game-winning, putback dunk from Michael Qualls with 0.2 seconds remaining in overtime.

The play unfolded after Kentucky’s James Young hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 85 with 12 seconds remaining. Arkansas rushed down the court, where Rashad Madden missed a three point shot from the right sideline. Though the attempt was errant, no Wildcats boxed out Qualls as he flew in from the backside for the game-winner.

Kentucky had a final chance to tie or win, but the ball was eaten by the scoreboard.
