With the Washington Nationals up 6-0 on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fifth inning, phenom Bryce Harper decided to ignore the large lead — and the warning track — to attempt to run down a fly ball instead of playing it off the wall.
Unfortunately, Harper collided into it at full speed, knocking him straight to the ground and bloodied.
He would eventually walk off under his own power, but whether he was actually seeing the ballfield or just a field full of stars is something only he knows. Well, he and hopefully the team trainer.
Sheesh. Looked like Bryce Harper was garroted. Here’s the cause, Harper meets wall, hardvine.co/v/b09YUlYTaT3
