South Carolina has Jadeveon Clowney, but it was UCF harassing quarterbacks early on Saturday.
Starting Gamecocks signal-caller Connor Shaw scrambled during the first quarter against the Knights. He took a huge hit on the run, fumbled and came up in real pain. He was grabbing his right shoulder and left the game.
He will be replaced by backup Dylan Thompson potentially for the rest of the ballgame, depending on the severity of the injury. The AP is reporting that Shaw suffered a right shoulder sprain.
