On Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers continued their assault on the Eastern Conference. Damian Lillard hit a fadeaway in the lane with 0.1 seconds remaining in overtime to defeat the Detroit Pistons, 111-109.
With Rodney Stuckey in his hip pocket, Lillard began his penetration with approximately 4 seconds on the clock. He then spun to the right at the foul line, in order to buy some space. From there, Lillard pulled the trigger and drained an 8-foot dagger.
The victory moved the Trail Blazers to 20-4 on the year. They currently have the best record in the Western Conference.
