Look out, world, because Damian Lillard is a stone-cold assassin. For the second straight game, Lillard has hit a game-winner; this time it was against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With 7.1 seconds remaining in the game, the Trail Blazers point guard took an inbounds pass near center court. Faced with a mismatch against Alonzo Gee, Lillard didn’t bother driving the lane. Instead, he pulled up for a deep three with his left foot still on the Cavs logo.
The Trail Blazers trolled the Eastern Conference earlier this month, and now they’re taking no prisoners. In the past three games, Portland drained 21 three-pointers against Philadelphia, and cut out the hearts of both Detroit and Cleveland.
