The 2014 World Cup draw took place on Friday, Dec. 6. During the announcement, world-renowned artist David Garibaldi produced a beautiful painting of the field of 32.
For the occasion, Garibaldi was in Washington D.C. in the presence of Brazilian ambassador Mauro Vieira.
Each time a new team was announced, Garibaldi painted an image synonymous with that country.
Following is the YouTube description of the video:
To celebrate the FIFA World Cup™ final draw and the global unifying power of football, Budweiser partnered with world-renowned artist David Garibaldi to develop a work of art that was created in real-time during the 90-minute final draw event.
If the World Cup is anywhere near as beautiful as this painting, the world is in for a treat this upcoming summer.
