Wide receiver Dez Bryant created a media firestorm when cameras caught him throwing what looked like a wild tantrum on the sidelines during the Dallas Cowboys’ 31-30 loss at Detroit. The footage shows him screaming at quarterback Tony Romo and receivers coach Derek Dooley.
As it turns out, Bryant was mic’d during one of his so-called outbursts, and the dialogue is extremely enlightening. Instead of cursing anyone out or being a bad teammate, he is passionately encouraging Romo to understand how elite he can really be.
Watch it for yourself. Do you think there’s anything wrong with what he’s saying or doing?
