Doc Rivers officially introduced as Clippers’ new head coach

At long last the will-they-or-won’t-they soap opera of whether or not Boston would be trading its head coach to the Clippers is over.

On Wednesday, 2008 NBA championship-winning coach Doc Rivers was introduced as Vinny Del Negro’s replacement in Los Angeles — and he sounded extremely excited to be working with guys like Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and potentially Chris Paul.
