In an interview with Ahmad Rashad to promote NBA 2K14, Michael Jordan related a time when he took a young O.J. Mayo to school on the hardwood. It was prompted by Mayo, a top-rated high school recruit at the time, trying to take a run at the G.O.A.T.
For those who doubted Jordan’s story, a video was submitted to Larry Brown Sports by a tipster.
In it, we can see MJ performing his trademark fadeaways on a defender who looks smaller, weaker and has absolutely zero chance. Yeah, that’s Mayo.
