In a terrifying moment on Sunday night, Houston coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the sidelines of the Texans’ showdown against the Indianapolis Colts.
The collapse took place just before halftime. Kubiak was almost immediately attended to by a number of medical professionals before being taken off the field of play on a stretcher. From there, he was transported to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips took over for Kubiak, who got some fantastic news while in the hospital: he did not have a heart attack.
