Harlem Globetrotter breaks Guinness World Record for longest basketball shot

A Harlem Globetrotter rookie named Thunder Law broke the world record for longest basketball shot. The original record was 104 feet 7 inches. Law’s shot was an impressive 109 feet 9 inches.

It’s been an interesting few days for the Globetrotters. Earlier this week Bull Bullard brought down the basket on a dunk attempt in Honduras. The hoop nearly took off his head, and his face was cut from the shattered glass.

Thunder Law’s record breaking shot was a part of Guinness World Record Day 2013 on Thursday. People around the globe set out in an attempt to break as many world records as possible in the 24-hour period.
