The Auburn Tigers crushed the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville, 55-23, during Week 11 of the 2013 season. The victory moved War Eagle to 9-1 on the year, as the program tripled its win total from a year ago.
Quarterback Nick Marshall led the way with both his arm and his legs – well, mostly with his legs. The converted defensive back attempted seven passes, completing only three for 37 yards, with one touchdown and one pick. Marshall rushed for a whopping 214 yards on just 14 carries, finding pay dirt twice.
Nick Marshall wasn’t the only Auburn player dominating on the ground. Running back Tre Mason took 20 carries for 117 yards, with three touchdowns.
