In a very scary moment, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher JA Happ was cracked in the head by a line drive off the bat of Tampa Bay outfielder Desmond Jennings.

Happ did manage to wave at the crowd as he was carted off the field in a stretcher. However, his head was immobilized and as of writing he was undergoing tests at a nearby hospital.

Obviously, players around baseball are devastated by the violence and potential severity of this hit. Everyone here at Gamedayr is wishing Happ a healthy and full recovery.
