Ole Miss traveled from Oxford up to Nashville and absolutely ripped the hearts out of the Vanderbilt football program with an improbable 39-35 comeback victory to open the 2013 season.
When that final whistle sounded and the ‘Dores moved to 0-1 on the young season, the team was hurting.
However, highly respected coach James Franklin was there, with his players, in that locker room. No matter what happened on that tough Thursday night, he only wanted his young men to know one thing: Believe.
Believe in themselves, believe in their coaches, believe in the system. It’s time for the rest of the season in Nashville.
