In his third year with Minnesota, coach Jerry Kill’s team sits at 5-2 overall. Coming off a huge upset win over Northwestern the Golden Gophers coach gave his team an emotional post-game speech.
Following a seizure on October 5, Kill decided to take a leave of absence in order to focus on his health. As Tracy Claeys filled in for him, Kill was able to watch Minnesota defeat Northwestern from the press box.
His speech reflected a man who has formed a special bond with his players.
