Baylor Bears defensive back K.J. Morton absolutely leveled Oklahoma wide receiver Sterling Shepard with a huge hit in the first quarter of Thursday night’s game.
Entering the game in Waco, all anyone could talk about was Baylor’s star-studded, warp-speed offense. Through the first 15 minutes, however, the biggest story was the Bears’ defense.
Morton was called for targeting and initially ejected for the hit. Upon review, the ejection was overturned due to the hit being shoulder to shoulder.
