Prior to Saturday’s game against Wisconsin, there were rumors circulating that LeBron James would be giving Ohio State players a pre-game speech. James ended up not addressing the team, but he did address the Buckeyes faithful.
James led the players into Ohio State’s traditional Skull Session pep rally before being introduced by head coach Urban Meyer.
Although James never attended college, it’s long been understood that the Akron, Ohio native would have suited up for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He started off by telling the crowd exactly that.
“I promise, I say this all the time — if I had one year of college, I would have ended up here,” James said.
James went on to express just how deep Scarlet and Gray runs in his veins.
“No matter where I go in the world, no matter where it is, I will always rock Ohio State colors,” James said.
