Louisiana Tech is not used to kicking field goals. Its high-powered offense generally scores touchdowns, and lots of them. However, the Bulldogs stalled near the goal line against Tulane on Thursday night, forcing kicker Kyle Fischer onto the field.
The young man lined it up, but we didn’t know he was going for some And-1 style points. Not only does it clank off one upright, but then it bashed off the other before finally falling through for three points. We’re sort of hoping he kicks all of his field goals like this.
Unfortunately, the kick would not provide too much help, as Tech eventually fell to the Green Wave, 24-15.
