Video: Arizona pulls off tip drill, gives Marcus Mariota first interception of year

Oregon Ducks superstar quarterback Marcus Mariota threw his first interception of the 2013 season, but it wasn’t exactly easy for Arizona to make it happen.

Defensive back Shaquille Richardson, with just one hand, made a spectacular on-ball play to keep the ball in-bounds. As he was flying out of bounds he shoveled it to teammate Scooby Wright, who tiptoed near the sideline to haul it in.

The interception snapped Mariota’s streak of 353 passes thrown without a pick. Coach Rich Rodriguez’s offense made good on the spectacular play, scoring a touchdown a few minutes later to go up by a score of 14-0 in the first quarter.
