Video: How MetLife Stadium changes between Giants and Jets

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

If you have ever wondered how MetLife Stadium changes between the Giants and Jets, wonder no longer. The below video from the Wall Street Journal is a little dated (2012 references to Sanchez and Tebow), but it offers a great behind the scenes look at the changeover.

According to the video, MetLife Stadium is 2.1 million square feet with 11,000 elements that must be changed. On average it takes 18-26 people working two eight-hour days to complete the transformation.

From fabric softener on the field to hidden compartments in the gift shop, the following video offers a insider look at one of the sport’s most unique operations.
