Whether you like Tim Tebow or not, the New York Jets did him dirty. The franchise traded for Tebow, promised him things that never came to fruition and never even gave him a legit opportunity to succeed.
No one has really come straight out and said that until TMZ caught up with New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch.
When asked about Tebow’s future and if he’ll ever get picked up, Tisch responded with the following:
“I think him going from the Broncos to the Jets was not in anybody’s best interest,” Tisch told TMZ on his way out of Dan Tana’s in L.A. Sunday night.
“Had another team picked him up after the Broncos, maybe he’d have a career.”
Before Tebow arrived in New York, he led a 1-4 Denver Broncos team to the postseason and won a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. People may point to the defense, but if that’s the case, why didn’t Kyle Orton succeed?
