Northern Arizona linebacker Ryan Reardon brought his go-go gadget shoes with him during the Lumberjacks’ Oct. 26 game at Cal Poly.
Reardon moved up to the line of scrimmage just prior to the Mustangs’ 4th-and-2 and then pulled off his best Troy Polamalu impression in tackling sophomore quarterback Dano Graves. The play resulted in a loss of a mere two yards, but the excitement in the voices of both the announcers in the booth, and in the actions of Reardon’s teammates on the field, show just how instrumental this spectacular play was in helping solidify a 17-13 victory.
The win moved UNA to 6-2 (4-1 Big Sky) on the year.
For comparison’s sake, check out Polamalu and his hair sky up for a tackle in the Tennessee backfield.
