With a full count against Ben Zobrist and closer Joe Nathon on the mound, the ump called a game-ending strike on one of the most obviously outside pitches you will ever see.

Heck, even Nathan can’t believe it. Watch him say “wow” after he walks off the mound.

What did Maddon say right after it was over?

“That can’t happen in a Major League game”.

The ump apologized after the game, but you just can’t un-see an embarrassment like that — even if it does occur late at night.
