Are we here at Gamedayr the biggest fans of the Yankees in the world? Heck no, we’re baseball fans, so we can’t like those New Yorkers and their pinstripes, now can we?

That being said, however, we love triple plays, and especially historic ones. On Friday night, the Yankees pulled off the very first 4-6-5-6-5-3-4 variation of it in Major League history and managed to shut down an Orioles rally in the process.

Pretty cool, even if it was the Yankees who pulled it off.
