The Oregon Ducks host the 2-0 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in a rare, regular season showdown against an SEC team. On the surface, lineman Jake Fisher seems to be paying even more revered, respectful compliments to the greatest thing to ever happen to the sport of football, the SEC (don’t believe us? Just ask anyone in the state of Alabama). Then you realize he’s just being sarcastic, and we’re hoping that you just laugh. He’s just having a little fun, after all.

There are probably plenty of SEC fans out there who are going to shout, ‘Seven straight championships!’ and those people are right. But those same people should probably just relax a little bit.

Then again, the SEC does boast the biggest, scariest players, right Fisher?

They’re big, strong and fast, and they’re the SEC, and no one can beat the SEC, so, we’re going to have all the challenges.

Yeah they’re really big and scary, so, we’re all really, really intimidated by the SEC, so we’re just going to have to keep our minds right.

Yeah, it’s our dream to play the SEC, so, you know, we’re just going to come out and play a good game.
