The MLB Fan Cave hosted a very special Yankees supporter in 13-year old Nick D’Annibale, a seventh-grader suffering from a form of leukemia known as ALL.

It was already a treat to be featured on television while playing wiffle ball with his family and others, and when an ice cream truck pulled up D’Annibale must have gotten pumped for some chocolate.

But he had no idea his favorite baseball player, star Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano, would be sharing the dessert with him.

This is a classy move on the part of Cano, who did not have to take time away from his busy schedule to provide a young fan with the memory of a lifetime.

As for D’Annibale, this is certainly one great day as he continues to work towards recovery.
