Video: Trumpet player’s national anthem at 49ers-Panthers game was incredible

Angie Walton-USA TODAY Sports

Prior to kickoff of the Carolina-San Francisco game on Sunday, America was treated to a real treat. Trumpet player Jesse McGuire fired up the pipes for an incredible rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” It’s not very often that the national anthem blows people away, but McGuire’s trumpet playing did exactly that. If this were to become the default rendition played at all games, we don’t think America would be mad at all.

According to For The Win, McGuire has also performed at the World Series (Game 7, 2001) and Daytona 500 (2000).
