Thanks to a USC coach, the hatred Tennessee fans formed for the Trojans due to Lane Kiffin will continue for at least a little while longer.
According to Saturday Down South, this video clip of a coach calling running back signee Jaylen Hurd “so soft and terrible” is believed by some to be Tee Martin. Martin helped lead the Vols to the national title as the team’s quarterback in 1998 – the year after Peyton Manning graduated and entered the NFL.
USC has since issued an apology for the comment being overheard, and Martin has denied that it was him making the statement.
USC Athletics apologizes for an inappropriate comment overheard on a video created on National Signing Day. The video has been deleted.
