The UMass football program is awful. There’s no way around it: The Minutemen went 1-11 in 2012, their first year in the FBS, and opened 2013 with three straight bad losses before hosting Vanderbilt.
The Commodoroes, on the other hand, are an up-and-coming program in the nation’s most dominant conference.
So why was the score only 10-7 at halftime? Vandy offensive lineman Wesley Johnson had absolutely no idea, but he wasn’t going to stand for it. The senior leader absolutely flips out in the halftime locker room at the beginning of the clip below.
It looks pretty intense, and it was – but it must have worked. The Dores rocked UMass in the second half to win, 24-7.
Maybe Johnson has just been watching a bit too much “Old School” these days?
