Baseball understands that it has a problem with slow game play and appealing to youngsters. Golf, on the other hand, features archaic game play that hardly appeals to anyone under the age of 40.
Of course, that’s an exaggeration, but this new commercial spot released by USGA shows that the sport is beginning to take steps to change that aspect of the game. The governing body of golf has begun an initiative intended to speed up the game.
The initiative itself is to be known as “While We’re Young” and some commercials promoting it will feature big-time golfers and celebrities.
