San Diego State’s Quinn Kaehler fired a dart to receiver Ezell Ruffin. It looked like Ruffin had a huge gain for the Aztecs, but it was Fresno State’s Ejiro Ederaine who had the ball in his hands when the refs were blowing their whistles.
At least, when the players thought the refs were blowing their whistles. Ederaine just kept floating towards his own end zone until he broke into a full sprint. Seventy-eight yards later, he had himself a Bulldogs touchdown and one bizarre highlight.
