Vince Carter had to be blunt with his buddy Dwight Howard on Wednesday night. As Howard was complaining to the refs during the Rockets-Mavericks game, Carter called the center a big crybaby.
“All the time,” Carter said of Howard’s whining to officials. “He always talks about how I’m a crybaby. I was like, ‘Yo, you’re the biggest crybaby I know.’ And then later, he’s like, ‘Yo, why’d you say that to me?’ But I know Dwight. It’s all good, but he is [a crybaby].”
Howard earned a costly technical foul late in the fourth quarter of the game. The Rockets fell to the Mavericks, 120-123.
Carter and Howard played together with the Orlando Magic. Carter was on the team for the 2009 season and part of 2010, before being traded midseason to the Phoenix Suns.
