A Kickstarter campaign to buy the Washington Redskins? The idea is in the works.
After watching his team suffer through an abysmal 3-10 start to the season, renowned chef David Chang is ready to crowd fund his purchase. Chang sent out the following tweet recently to drum up support for his new idea, and we are digging it.

Chang, like most Redskins fans, is tired of seeing Daniel Snyder run his favorite team into the ground. According to Forbes, the franchise is worth an estimated $1.7 billion. With Snyder being the business man that he is, it’d be hard to turn down an offer for more than three times the value of the team. After all, it’s a business.
Kickstarter is even keen on Chang’s idea, responding to him with just how many people live in the Washington D.C. metro area.

A Kickstarter campaign to buy an NFL franchise could quite possibly be the greatest idea ever. Who knows, Chang may even get support from Native Americans if he throws in a name change with the campaign.
