The West Virginia baseball team held an intra-squad scrimmage on a dirt field, but the location is actually the construction site of the program’s future stadium.
Without dugouts, the players on the blue and yellow teams each got comfortable on the dirt along either foul line of where the new, $16 million Monongalia baseball stadium will live. The venue is set to be complete in time for the 2015 season.
We’ll file this photo away, and compare it to the finished product once the sparkling new stadium has been built.
