West Virginia baseball team buys supplies for Oklahoma tornado victims

The West Virginia baseball team was in Oklahoma City for the Mountaineers’ first conference tournament since joining the Big 12.

Only a handful of miles away, a national tragedy was taking place in Moore, Oklahoma. A massive tornado shredded the town apart, leveling nearly everything in its path, including several elementary schools.

The Mountaineers, in a show of class that everyone in the entire nation can get behind, went to the department store and stockpiled supplies for those who had just lost absolutely everything.

West Virginia was able to take action in order to help. For those of us not close enough? The Red Cross and other charities have set up donation lines.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Moore, OK.
