Former UNC basketball player Will Graves was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was detained on Friday, Dec. 6. The kicker is that Graves was arrested in a home he rents from Tar Heels basketball coach Roy Williams.
WTVD reports that police found seeds, three blunts and two burnt blunts at the house. Graves is currently finishing his degree at UNC, and is a part-time video coordinator for the basketball team.
This is just the latest frustration for Tar Heels fans and Graves. Williams kicked Graves off the team during the 2010-11 season after the fifth-year senior violated team rules. With the headaches surrounding the program involving his current players (P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald), the last thing Williams probably wanted was to be tied into the problems of former players.
